Chestnut Barn
Chestnut Barn was originally a farm outbuilding in the grounds of Ensis Farm in Harracott, North Devon. Recently refurbished, this beautiful building is now a character filled devon holiday cottage, suitable for a family holiday of 4 and dogs are welcome too. The self catering accommodation overlooks some of the most beautiful countryside that North Devon has to offer. Tucked away down a winding country lane, Chestnut Barn is a relaxing and peacful place to enjoy a holiday in Devon whether you are a retired couple or a young family.
Chestnut Barn comfortably sleeps 4 people making it the ideal devon holiday cottage for your family holiday.
The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a cot available if needed. Also on the first floor is a bathroom with shower and WC.
On the ground floor there is a comfortably spacious living room leading to kitchen/diner fitted out with all the appliances you will need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen leads to a utlity room and second WC.
To the rear of the property is a private, lawned garden with patio area, garden furniture and Barbecue facilities. Parking is provided. Access is available to the open paddock field which is adjacent to the barn's garden, Ideal for kids and dogs to run off some energy. Dogs are welcome if we are notified in advance.
Chestnut barn is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding North Devon countryside with it's many winding lanes and intriguing footpaths and bridleways. Horse riding, cycling, fishing and golf are all activities that can be enjoyed locally.

Hazelnut Barn is an original, restored barn just like Chestnut Barn, but is a slightly smaller property with only one bedroom which features a king sized bed. With all the charms of a devon holiday cottage, Hazelnut Barn is the ideal place for a couple to relax and spend some quality time together. The surrounding countryside is full of winding lanes and intriguing footpaths that connect all the surrounding villages, most of which offer hospitality in the form of an inn, pub or restaurant selling locally produced goods and ales.
Hazelnut Barn is a charming barn conversion retaining most of it's original features yet tastefully modernised for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
This Devon holiday cottage is situated off a quiet country lane with it's own private driveway, parking and private garden.
